Support Engineer

This role will report to the Regional Head of Solutions Engineering

  • The primary focus will be on technical components and implementing front-end/backend implementation for any customer/internal/product related and implementing them following well-known JS workflow.
  • Research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve customer issues in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Be the point of coordination between Solutions Engineering team and Growth Engineers
  • Timely execution of requests (technical/code/CR) from the Solutions Engineering team. 
  • Work with a cross-functional team on ad-hoc technical/code works for anything customer/internal/product related issues/projects.
  • On-going daily support for existing customer/internal/product focused on technical issues and support. 
  • communicate with a variety of people, who don’t all have the same technical knowledge
  • Providing front-end support to clients and colleagues in other departments.
  • Follow standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams
  • Document knowledge in the form of knowledge base tech notes and articles
  • Software Engineering degree or other relevant qualification(s)
  • At least 0-2 years of working experience in Coding/Technical Support. Fresh Graduates with internships of similar scope are encouraged to apply.
  • Have impeccable written and verbal communication skills in both English and local language
  • Solve complex problems with focus on design and effectively applying automated solutions
  • Focus on producing high quality code as a significant and autonomous contributor.
  • Experience in programming language such as Node JS, React JS, Angular JS, CSS, SQL, HTML
  • Experience or knowledge of software development practices and tools (e.g. Git, Docker, CI/CD, automated testing).
  • Experience working in an agile environment. 
  • Build tests to ensure performance, load and scalability.
  • Implement reusable code but being conscious of dependencies
  • Fundamental understanding of API/Webhooks and other forms integrations between multiple platforms is an added advantage
  • Basic knowledge and understanding in Marketing Technologies like Messaging, Analytics CDP, Attribution, Mobile Development is an added advantage.
  • Have excellent organizational skills and have demonstrated the ability (or eagerness) to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
